Happenings: curated events, exhibitions and residencies

Darba Terapija (Work therapy) October/November 2021

Art residency at Rucka in Cesis, coincided with another lockdown in Latvia. It was meant to be a knowledge shared through workshops about natural fabric making, coppicing and small outdoor structure making. But it turned out to be a month-long quiet period of inward looking at my practice and summarising season’s work: hours of weaving, hence the name “Work therapy” as I was weaving next to the sign previously used in Rucka building which used to be a tuberculosis hospital.
