Dada 100 and a half celebration 2016
For this event in collaboration with Joseph Haigh we created a Yurt Schwitters: a space within a space. Through out the evening it served as a performance space, studio and dinning space, providing a refuge or a different vantage point for performances happening around the yurt. We decorated with symbols associated with our day to day life in the style Kibbo Kift, as me ang Joe shared a common interest in rebellious nature of the Kibbo Kift movement, outdoor walks in rural England and camping life. Camping and outdoor life was central to me when researching and taking part in projects related to Dada movement’s echo in England as we visited Kurt Schwitters residence in Ambelside in Lake District.
